Ryan Garcia a big name in the world of boxing and enjoys a huge fan following on social media. 'KingRy' has competed in 25 professional boxing fights and got his hand raised in 24 of them. One thing to note is that 20 of Garcia's 24 victories have come via knockout.

Garcia suffered the only loss of his professional career so far when he went up against Gervonta Davis in April 2023. The event was held at the T-Mobile Arena in Paradise, Nevada. The 25-year-old came up short that night and lost the encounter via seventh-round KO.

Throughout his nearly eight-year professional boxing career, Ryan Garcia has competed in multiple weight divisions. The 25-year-old has been a part of super featherweight, super junior featherweight, lightweight, and junior welterweight (or super lightweight) classes.

Garcia currently competes in the super lightweight division (140 pounds). After his loss to Gervonta Davis at catchweight (136 pounds), the 25-year-old made the move up to 140 pounds and locked horns with Oscar Duarte in December 2023.

The fight, which took place at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas, ended in an eighth-round knockout victory for Garcia.

The highly anticipated grudge match between Ryan Garcia and Devin Haney is all set to go down on April 20. The event will be held at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.

The bout will be for the WBC super lightweight belt and thus, both fighters will be required to make the 140-pound weight limit before competing inside the squared circle.

Ahead of the clash, the two athletes met for a face-off in New York. Things got heated between the two as Haney ended up shoving Garcia.

After the altercation, Haney had a small chat with FightHype.com, where he spoke about the topic of weight-cut ahead of their fight. He said:

"He looked heavy. He looked heavy, right? He's going to make weight. He's got to make weight. I feel good, I feel amazing. 140 [pounds], I'm growing into the weight class even more. I feel stronger, better, faster. I'm excited about the weight, the camp has gone, I can't wait till Saturday."
