Shock for Kimi’s fan — No Kimi Raikkonen in 2010 F1 champioship

A disappointing news for Kimi’s Fan that  2007 F1 world champion Kimi Raikkonen will not race in the 2010 Formula One championship.

As per his manager Steve Robertson , Kimi and Mclaren were unable to reach an agreement , causing him to remain out of racing at the F1 level atleast for 1 year. He earlier also from 2002 to 2006 was with Mclauren Mercedes before moving to Ferrari in 2007 where he won the drivers’ championship.

While Kimi cannot reach an contract with Mclaren , Adrian Sutil and Vitantonio Liuzzi have get their contracts extended for Force India team next season. This news is given at press conference by Force India’s chairman and team principal, Dr Vijay Mallya himself.  By the way next season of  2010 F1 to begin at Bahrain Grand Prix from march 2010.

    No Kimi ,No F1.When will the people in F1 learn that F1 race driver is meant to drive fast and go home.F1 has become more of branding and marketing.I guess suits the likes of Fernando Alonso.F1 sucks now more than ever.Bye bye F1.

    Mercedes have a vacancy after world champion Jenson Button went to McLaren. But there is still no official confirmation on that .There also has been rumors that kimi might quit F1 for WRC .

      Kimi has already taken a sabbatical.there is no vacancy in Merc!sorry about that mate.No kimi for 2010.

    will miss the kimster. the only reason he is out of an f1 drive is because he is not bothered with being a pr machine like hamilton or alonso. he is his own man.

    Agree with u nexis.F1 teams need an advertisement model/average driver/techician for their teams.i guess the age of genuine race drivers is gone.I see this as and end to F1.
