Arsenal vs Chelsea at the Emirates

Chelsea produces one more clean sheet. This time the lead is even more 3-0. It was Drogba and Ashley Cole from the blues who made the difference. It is said that football is a body contact game and Chelsea uses the advantage to the most. The star striker of premier league got the yellow card in early stage of the first half for charging the Arsenal Defender(Thomas Vermaelen) and he was never near the ball.

Arsenal-vs-Chelsea

Arsen Wengers dream of a young team to play some good football and win the premier league is just fading. They are not performing in big matches. With Van Persie sitting out and with an Eduardo (selfish bugger) Ashravin and Fabregas were help less. The midfield never looked organized. Nasri and Denilson looked hope less. Though in the second half Rosicky tried with the long passes but Arsenal never really looked that they can do a come back. The Chelsea left back stole the show. No wonder why he is the world no. 1 leftback .He was overlapping in every opportunity he was getting with an injury. John Terry’s contribution for the first goal should not be left un-discussed. It was a beautiful team move and finally the Left back finds Drogba. It was a wonderful flick to find the back of the net. He hardly misses in a big day and it’s a true identity of a great striker. From that time Chelsea was on top. Arsenal Never really looked that they can make a come back. A few minutes later a team move again and one more superb cross from the Chelsea left back Ahley Cole it was placed so nicely that even if a defender gives a touch on it Alumina will be faked again. The unfortunate Thomas Vermaelen touches it with the shin pad and finds the net. The Belgian never really looked comfortable and was unsure against the two top class strikers. The last one came from undoubtedly the best striker from the African continent. Didier Drogba in a direct free kick keeps Alumini wrong footed and triggers a bullet. The league table looks something like this after this weekend .

I was born in a place where football is played the most in India. Have watched all the great Indian footballers of my time live from the ground. You name a few I will tell you a short story about them. Manchester United and Argetina are the club and the coutry I support as India is yet to make a debut.

And Arsenal is back in top 3 with a game in hand after this week. Good analysis but Eduardo is not a ” selfish bugger” he is a great finisher and is very lethal inside the opposition’s box. He is poacher like van Nistelrooy and Inzaghi with an in born talent to score goals . Its just a matter of getting 2-3 goals which will boost his confidence and make him deadlier ..even more than Drogba
