Is he is ready for driving in fast lane? I think he was born ready for this sport. With each passing day rumour is gettting both bolder and louder that seven-time World Champion Michael Schumacher is close to signing on with the newly formed Mercedes Formula 1 team. This rumour is now bringing excitments not in just among F1 fans but also in varoius team drivers especially who have missed racing with Schumacher.
Though it is not for the first time since Michael Schumacher left the Formula 1 seat back in 2006 that news of his grand comeback has been in the air. In this season itself Ferrari almost enticed the retired champ back before things go haywire because of infamous Hungary accident where Schumacher suffered some serious injuries in his neck.

Michael Schumacher
Anyway Mercedes is no new for Schumacher. Infact this deal with Mercedes would be perfect apt for ending Schumacher F1 journey circle as it is same Mercedes for whom he was driving sportscar before joining F1. Infact even on his F1 debut Schumacher was a contracted Mercedes player which was signed by Eddie Jordan after Mercedes paid Jordan $150,000 for his debut.
Also with spread of news of his return , there arises a whole load of interesting questions. The first issues is whether his neck has fully healed so that a 41 year races coming after 4 years would able to compete with same Brand Schumacher expectations with 24 years ones of other teams.
Secondly this would not be a typical comeback, Schumacher who is going to be 41 this January any comeback would bound to be short, but then this one only has to be. Also he has absolutely nothing to prove, why would he want to? The answers to these questions would only be cleared by Schumacher by explaning to us after all what is that makes Schumi’s juices flowing again.
But nevertheless I am excited and I am sure we all are excited. So please Schumi, Say it “Yes”, Say it !

I hope he says a big NO. I am a fan of Schumi and Ferrari.
Why should he come back now? He is already called greatest. what can he achieve after that? With so much competition increasing between the cars, there is no chance that his 7 time record is beaten too.
He has signed himself as a consultant to Ferrari. Is he gonna break a contract just to get a drivers seat? It all sounds so unlike the Schumi we all adore.
He has nothing to gain and a lot to loose by coming back. Hope he says a NO!

I agree Schumi has nothing to prove but for F1 it would be viewed as a good thing as it would bring in extra viewers. The attention it would generate would be enormous after Honda, Toyota and BMW left and there is still a large question mark over Renault.
Its official now Schumacher has said YES.
