Sachin Tendulkar Named Sathya Sai Baba’s Successor (Satire)

The master batsman has been named the sole beneficiary in the Godman’s last testament.

The codicil states: “I have always been a huge fan of Sachin. He is a God to millions of Indians, just like I am. He has devotees cutting across state lines and so do I. He does not need money and neither did I.”

Sathya Sai Baba was a Sachin fan and never missed any of his centuries.

Sathya Sai Baba also avers his fondness for Tendulkar stating further: “Cricket is a religion and Tendulkar is its God. I am lucky to have Tendulkar as a disciple when actually it is me who is his (disciple).”

The ‘living God’ also remarked further on the physical similarities between the two, saying, “Tendulkar reminds me of myself with his curly hair, so like mine.”

“Sachin’s integrity cannot be questioned and that is why I have no hesitation in naming him my one and only heir to the title of ‘Living God’ and all my earthly possessions.”

Sachin Tendulkar has promised to dedicate his 100th century to the demised demi-God.
