Winner of eight Premier League titles, three FA Cups, one UEFA Champions League title, and one FIFA Club World Cup, former red devil, Gary Alexander Neville, is going to visit an event in Mumbai this month.

The Ex Manchester United captain made 400 appearances for the club and has scored 5 goals in a career span of over 19 years at the Manchester club.

Gary Neville is said to be visiting Manchester United Cafe at Phoenix Mills, Mumbai for a book signing on 12th of this month. ‘Red my autobiography’ a book depicting his playing career in detail has created controversy earlier this year because he has written that playing for England was a massive waste of his time.

Neville will first finish a book signing at the Sunway Pyramid, Malaysia on 8th January before his trip to India.

India has finally opened its doors for European football after the Future group has recently announced the launch of Manchester United Merchandise stores in 3 cities across India.

Gary Neville’s visit comes as no surprise as the Manchester club enjoys the support of close to 20 million fans in the country.

2011 saw Premier League side Blackburn Rovers visit Pune to play in a friendly against I-league side Pune FC. Recently the Indian owned side has defeated the Manchester club in a thrilling encounter that ended 3-2. With German giants Bayern Munich playing the Indian National football team on January 10th, the club he has beaten to win the 1998-99 Champions League, the country can only hope for more teams to follow suite.
