This season had it’s fair share of amazing strikes that might go to win this years Puskas award. Be it stunning volleys, sweet placements or curling free kicks, the supporters have seen it all. And with just a couple of games left for the season to finish, it is not early to rate the best goals scored in the premier league for this season.
It’s hard to pick one and so in my opinion these were three of the best goals I’ve seen so far.
1) Van Persie (Arsenal vs Everton)
On the day of Arsenal’s 125th anniversary, the Emirates stadium was packed and with club legends watching the game from above, the pressure is bound to build on the players. The teams were at a deadlock until Song’s perfect chip landed right at the feet of the “flying dutchman” who made no mistake on the edge of the penalty area as he smashed the ball home. That strike sent the Emirates into tizzy as they celebrated the goal.
Szczesny, the gunners goalkeeper, didn’t miss the opportunity to kiss van Persie’s foot after the game.

How about that?
2) Peter Crouch (Stoke City vs Manchester City)
With Manchester City playing for the title, anyone would have considered them as favourites in this fixture. The game was level at 0-0, the crowd was getting restless and Crouch made them stand up in their seats with a sweet volley. The stoke keeper sent the ball up field before Crouch won the ball and his teammate cushioned his header and Crouch struck the ball over a stunned Joe Hart without the ball grazing the ground. It took a moment for the crowd to realise what had happened as Crouch ran around the field celebrating the goal.

Looks better every time you see it!!
3) Papiss Demba Cisse(Newcastle United vs Chelsea)
The Newcastle forward has already made a name for himself by scoring in almost every game that he’s played for the Magpies. But his goal last night put a severe dent in Chelsea’s hopes of Champions League football. A freakish shot with the outside of his right foot buried Chelsea’s hope of securing at least a point in injury time.

Udai Subramaniam Joined 0 pointsAS IVE MENTIONED ABOVE, There are many more good goals but these ones took the cake, being scored from awkward angles with an uncanny possibility of scoring and were of great significance in that game.
RVP: 125th anniversary with legends visiting.
CROUCH: Man City’s title hopes dented.
CISSE: Put Chelsea out of contention for the champions league via the top 4 and go above them.
