After their dominating win in Bahrain, the Red-Bull team struggled to find pace in Spain and crossed the finish line in 6th and 11th places respectively for Sebastian Vettel and Mark Webber. Heading to Monaco next weekend, here is what their drivers hope for.
Like for almost all drivers on grid, Monaco Grand prix is a special race for Sebastian Vettel as the track provides no room for even the slightest of mistakes. For Sebastian it’s a nice feeling to go so close to the walls, at sky rocketing speeds.
For Mark Webber, Monaco is a well known territory as he has been racing in formula 1 for ten years. According to him the track has become much easier than what it was ten years back, but it still is a test of car against the track. According to Mark, the race is physically straightforward, but mentally it is the most gruelling race of the year.
Both Mark Webber and Sebastian Vettel have won in Monaco before, and the race has been dominated by red-bull for the past two years. So it will be no surprise to see a red-bull driver on the top step of the podium, but with the level of unpredictability this year you never know who can spring up a surprise.
