France’s hopes at Euro met with a huge blow after Loic Remy, the Marseille forward was ruled out of the upcoming Euro 2012 through an injury. He suffered a thigh strain in the Lique 1 game against Auxerre.
He has contributed with 21 goals in 46 games that he has played throughout the season across all competitions with 12 goals in the league. Apart from that, he has 8 assists to his name as well. Indeed, given these contributions, his loss is a big blow, specially after a dismal performance at the last World Cup, and this has left Laurent Blanc with not many obvious choices.
