Shinji Kagawa has joined Manchester United

After a long wait, United fans can finally celebrate the signing of Borussia Dortmund forward Shinji Kagawa as the club’s website has confirmed the signing of the Japanese international.  The fee is undisclosed but is believed to be close to £18m including add-ons and clauses.

Machester United’s representative said:

“Manchester United is delighted to announce that it has agreed terms with both Borussia Dortmund and Shinji Kagawa for his transfer to the club. The deal is subject only to the player medical and obtaining a UK work permit. These conditions are anticipated to be completed by the end of June. Further details will be announced in due course.”

 

Eden Hazard’s Chelsea move confirmed

Chelsea have also put up an official statement confirming the arrival of Belgian star Eden Hazard in due course of time. There was large speculation regarding Hazard’s final destination which were put to an end when he communicated via his Twitter account that he will sign for the Champions League winners-  a statement which is now confirmed. The deal is believed to be £32m.

“I’ve always said I wanted to play in England. There was a struggle between Chelsea and [Manchester] United, but according to me Chelsea has the best project. I spoke with Abramovich, he is very simple and loves football. We were on the same wavelength, he wants to confirm Chelsea’s position at the top. Chelsea have made a good investment for me but I did not put any pressure on them.”
Ronaldinho signs for Atletico Mineiro

Ronaldinho’s controversial departure from Flamengo has turned into a positive for Atletico Mineiro as they have managed to sign the Brazilian. Following speculation linking Ronaldinho with Palmeiras and Chinese outfit Guangzhou Fuli, Atletico Mineiro have now confirmed that they have signed the attacker until the end of the year.

 

Silva rejects Real Madrid

Real Madrid were said to be keeping a tab on David Silva as a possible replacement for Brazilian midfielder Kaka, but his agent has confirmed that the Spanish forward will not be moving anywhere and is committed to EPL Champions Manchester City.

“Silva has a long contract with Manchester City and he is held in high regard there; I do not know what could happen in the future, but Silva wants to remain at City.”
