New details surface on John Cena's divorce

John Cena

As you’ve probably heard by now, current WWE star John Cena is in the midst of a messy divorce from his wife of just under three years, Elizabeth Huberdeau. The two were high school sweethearts growing up, and were married on July 11, 2009. Cena filed for divorce last month, with rumors being that the marriage was falling apart due to Cena putting his career ahead of family (which Cena himself stated in an interview).

However, there appears to be more to the story, and it involves Cena cheating on his soon-to-be ex-wife.

Ken Doane, who formerly worked for WWE as Kenny of the Spirit Squad, and later Kenny Dykstra, has done several interviews, stating he knows the full story behind what’s going on between Cena and Huberdeau. During his time with WWE, Doane was engaged to former WWE diva and current TNA knockout Mickie James. However, their relationship fell apart when Doane suspected James of cheating on him, and had his suspicions confirmed when he confronted James about it one night while she was searching the internet for rumors of her dating Cena. When he confronted her about it, James confirmed that it was true, and it resulted in the two of them splitting up. Eventually, it wound up hurting Doane’s career, as he was released from WWE not long after.

Apparently, there’s more to it than just Mickie James, too. Doane recently did another interview, stating that, while Cena was dating James, he was also seeing an unnamed WWE diva at the time, all the while still seeing Elizabeth Huberdeau. Although Doane would not say who she was, he said she was a diva who was drafted to Smackdown! from RAW at the time due to Cena dumping her as well, and that said diva was married to someone outside of the business, meaning the diva was cheating as well. At the time, the only divas in WWE who could fit this description were Torrie Wilson and Victoria (current TNA knockout Tara). Wilson at the time, was going through a divorce from her then-husband former WWE star Billy Kidman, while Victoria was married to a man not involved in wrestling, making her fit Doane’s description the closest.

Former WWE Diva Mickie James

Doane has also gone on to blame Cena for Mickie James being transferred to Smackdown! from RAW at the end of her time there, the “Piggy James” angle and her subsequent release. Around the time James was transferred to “the blue brand” is about what time Doane says her and Cena finally called it quits, with the “Piggy James” angle basically being punishment for her messing around with Cena.

Although this can’t be confirmed by anyone but Doane, rumors of Cena’s infidelity have been running around for years, with Cena even backing them up in an appearance on the Howard Stern show several years back, with rumors of him being involved with Mickie James especially consistent.

Elizabeth Huberdeau has reportedly signed a deal for a tell-all book in regards to her life with John Cena, which would seem to indicate there is some truth to Doane’s stories, as tell-all books are generally a vehicle for airing “dirty laundry” such as this.
