LONDON, ENGLAND – APRIL 02: Tomasz Kuszczak of Manchester United fails to stop Mark Noble of West Ham United
It’s been known for a long time now, but today official marks the end of Manchester United playing careers for all four of the released United players this summer. Michael Owen, Tomas Kuszczak, Liam Jacob and Joe Coll have all left United after failing to win a new contract.
Michael Owen and Kuszczak have been relatively well involved down the years but both have failed to ever break properly into the first team. Owen looks set to join Stoke while Kuszczak has already signed for Brighton. Youngster Jacob has already signed for Oldham Athletic but Coll is yet to find a new club. Thanks to all the players and good luck to them in the future.
