Lotus F1 has announced that they will join forces with the movie ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ at this weekend’s Silverstone Grand Prix. The movie is the conclusion to Christopher Nolan’s movie trilogy. The cars, overalls and driver helmets of Romain Grosjean and Kimi Räikkönen will feature the ffilm’s logo. There will also be an exposure inside the team’s garage.
“Our car, the E20, looks superb with the Batman branding and we are looking forward to seeing the reaction of our numerous fans when it takes to the Silverstone circuit this weekend,” Lotus team boss Eric Boullier said of the partnership. “We are certainly hoping for an epic conclusion for The Dark Knight Rises E20 in the Grand Prix.”
Earlier, also Red Bull and Toyota linked up with film creators. In these cases the cars where decorated with special liveries of the movies ‘Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith, Superman Returns and the Terminator.
