Hudson Lima, the Brazilian footballer, who joined Mohun Bagan in the 2011-12 season as a midfielder, has joined Bhawanipur Club with his Brazilian, and former Mohan Bagan team mate Jose Ramirez Barreto for the upcoming season 2012-13.
Lima played 23 games in the last season for ‘The Mariners’ but failed to make a mark. Though he was awarded Man Of The Match in one game, he did not score a single goal last season. He is very happy after getting back into a Kolkata club, after Mohun Bagan released him.
It has been reported that Barreto, who ended his Mohun Bagan carreer this season after playing many years in Kolkata, invited Lima to join the Bhawanipur Club. Earlier, Barreto has said that his main focus will be to lift the club into the main league, like the Kolkata League, and then the I-league. It will be interesting to see how this Brazilian combination help this underrated club to shine.
