Liverpool might offer Charlie Adam in a swap deal for Dempsey
Charlie Adam could be used in the deal to take Clint Dempsey from Fulham to Liverpool. The Scottish midfielder, who joined the Anfield club from Blackpool last summer failed to make an instant impression. This offer is touted to help Liverpool, who are leading the race for Clint Dempsey as well as a £15million move for Swansea's Joe Allen. The arrival of those two players could mean Adam would be sidelined anyway and that might tempt Brendan Rodgers to let go of the midfield.
