London - American pair Bob and Mike Bryan defeated French duo Michael Llodra and Jo-Wilfried Tsonga in a close-fought men’s doubles Olympic tennis final here at the All England Club Saturday.
The US twins won 6-4, 7-6(2), helped in the second set by making no unforced errors.
The Bryan brothers, who won bronze in Beijing, completed a career Golden Slam in doubles after winning 11 Grand Slam titles across all four majors.
Julien Benneteau and Richard Gasquet won bronze for France, beating Spaniards David Ferrer and Feliciano Lopez earlier Saturday.
