Mysore, Aug 6 (IANS): Mumbai Cricket Association (CA) pegged Rajasthan CA to 193 for four in their first innings on the first day of their four-day match in the Shafi Darashah trophy cricket tournament, here on Monday.
Taking first strike on winning the toss, Rajasthan struggled to get some momentum in their innings, despite a half century by Siddharth Saraf (56) while Balwinder Singh Sandhu (Jr) took two for 52 for Mumbai.
Elsewhere, KL. Rahul (74), Robin Uthappa (54) and KV. Sidharth (70) notched up half-centuries as KSCA President’s XI made 278 for nine by stumps against Hyderabad CA, for whom Ravi Kiran took four wickets.
In Bangalore, KSCA Colts were 230 for three against Baroda CA on a rain-affected first day with Mayank Agarwal (91 batting) in sight of a century after putting on 148 runs for the third wicket with Sunil N. Raju (76).
In Alur, KSCA XI were 256 for seven against Bangladesh CA with CM. Gautham (57 batting) and Raajoo Bhatkal (49) being the main scorers while Enamul Haque (Jr) came away with four for 103.
