United Turn to Isco after losing Moura

Manchester United have turned their attention to Malaga’s Franciso Roman Alarcon, popularly known as Isco, after ending their quest to sign Lucas Moura.

Moura’s representatives reportedly asked for 6 million pounds in agents’ fees on top of the 30 million pound transfer fee, which put off Sir Alex Ferguson.

Isco would be a much cheaper option for United, having an estimated market value of 16 million pounds, but which could go down even further considering Malaga’s on-going financial troubles.

Isco has progressed rapidly after moving to Malaga from Valencia’s ‘B’ team, even appearing in Spain’s pre-Euro friendlies.
