Manchester United have turned their attention to Malaga’s Franciso Roman Alarcon, popularly known as Isco, after ending their quest to sign Lucas Moura.
Moura’s representatives reportedly asked for 6 million pounds in agents’ fees on top of the 30 million pound transfer fee, which put off Sir Alex Ferguson.
Isco would be a much cheaper option for United, having an estimated market value of 16 million pounds, but which could go down even further considering Malaga’s on-going financial troubles.
Isco has progressed rapidly after moving to Malaga from Valencia’s ‘B’ team, even appearing in Spain’s pre-Euro friendlies.
Italian giants Juventus have reportedly approached Man City to discuss a transfer fee for their Bosnian striker Edin Dzeko.
Dzeko is fourth choice for City despite costing them over 25 million pounds just two seasons back.
A.C Milan are also interested in the player after selling Ibrahmovic to PSG.
Andrei Arshavin’s troubled time at Arsenal seems to be coming to an end after the Turkish giants made a reported 4 million bid for the midfielder.
QPR are also said to be interested in signing the player.
Tottenham are looking to remove a number of fringe players from their squad in order to fund their move for a new striker.
The likes of Jermain Jenas, Kyle Naughton, Sebastin Bassong and David Bentley are all set to be sold.
The sales will be used to buy a new striker, with Brazilian Leandro Damiao the preferred choice of new manager AVB.
