London - Jaroslav Kulhavy brought the Czech Republic a gold medal in the men’s mountain bike race in a close finish Sunday.
Kulhavy finished in 1 hour 29 minutes 7 seconds, slightly ahead of Nino Schurter of Switzerland, who was timed just one second behind.
Bronze went to Marco Aurelio Fontana of Italy, who finished 25 seconds behind Kulhavy.
