Bangalore, Aug 28 – Ahalya Padukone, mother of badminton icon Prakash Padukone, passed away here Tuesday morning following a brief illness.
She was 84 and leaves behind four sons, a daughter and grandchildren, including Bollywood star Deepika, the daughter of Prakash.

May her soul rest in peace.. I had met Ahalya pachi and Ramesh mam in the 70′s. her endearing ways will always remain in my memory…..
