Indian U 18 women just beat Singapore in the 21st FIBA Asia U18 Championship, 93-53. We scored more than half of our points down in the paint for 72 points. and limited their second chance points and points off turnovers to single digits. Jeena Skaria PS lead the score sheet with 28 points, 11 rebounds and 2 blocks. Rajapriyadharshini Rajaganapathi added 20 points, 10 rebounds and 4 blocks and Shireen Limaye almost had a triple/quadruple double with an all round game of 12 points, 13 rebounds, 9 assists and 6 steals.

We shot 50% from the field and forced them to shoot 25% with our stifling defense. India was lead on the sidelines by coach Harjinder Singh Simak and assistant coach Shiba Maggon, herself a FIBA referee and a former Indian team captain.
