Sportskeeda presents NBA Top 20

The 2012/13 NBA season is just around the corner, and we – the family of Basketball Writers at Sportskeeda – have been waiting for tip off with high anticipation. And so, a half dozen of the best basketball minds on this website got together to debate, discuss, and analyse the best in the NBA, the individuals who make this into the most exciting league in the world.

Over the next few weeks, we will reveal the first ever Sportskeeda Top 20, our ranking of the top 20 best players in the NBA for 2012/13; the players who will be most “valuable”, not just to their team but in determining the course of how the upcoming season unravels.

The six writers who have voted for this list – Karan Madhok (hoopistani), Sabarinath Sankaranarayanan (sabarinath.sankara), Siddarth Sharma (sidbreakball), Siddharth Srikanth (darthsid), Sidhartha Patra (sidhartha), and Souvik Roy Chowdhury (souvik) – will reveal to you the top 20, including in depth features on the players who made our elusive top 10.

In the process, we hope to create some lively debates and discussions among followers on this website and basketball fans across the world. Who do you think deserves to be in the top 20? Who do you think is one of the five best players in the league? Who would you vote for as the league’s best player?

We’ll start revealing our answers from tomorrow, and in the process, reveal the voices and opinions of some of the NBA’s biggest fans-turned-writers. Enjoy!
