Mark Webber has taken pole position for the 2012 Korean Grand Prix. Sebastian Vettel made it a Red-Bull front row lockout by setting the second fastest time. The young German had been faster that his Australian team mate throughout the session but he just couldn’t put a lap in together to dislodge Mark Webber from P1.
Lewis hamilton and Fernando Alonso were the best of the rest and will be starting from third and fourth positions respectively.
Felipe Massa continued his impressive rejuvenated form and was sixth fastest in his Scuderia-Ferrari.
Hamilton’s team mate Jenson Button had a dissapointing qualifying session as he couldn’t make it to Q3 and will start the race from eleventh position.
Kimi Raikkonen was fifth fastest in his updated Lotus-Renault. His teammate Grosjean was seventh fastest.
Nico Hulkenberg was the sole Force India inside the top 10. He starts from P8 for tomorrow’s race.
Completing the top 10 were the Mercedes duo of Rosberg and Schumacher in ninth and tenth places respectively.
Niether of the Sauber and Williams could make into Q3. Sergio perez and Kamui Kobayashi will be starting from twelfth and thirteenth position respectively
The Williams team were far off the pace and had trouble getting temperature into their tyres.
