Denim suits for FC Barcelona after new deal with Italian brand

Lionel Messi and co. will soon be getting new suits from Italian firm Fashion Box

Barcelona have struck a 4-year agreement with an Italian clothing brand called Fashion Box. By virtue of the deal, the Italian firm’s denim brands – Replay, Replay & Sons, We Are Replay and Red Seal – will become the official sponsors of the clubs formal clothing and footwear.

SportsPro reported an official press release from the Catalan club which stated that the Replay brand would create a line of smart casual wear for the team. This is set to include development of a new unique, exclusive superlight suit for the players which is set to be made using the firm’s indigo denim fabric.

Matteo Sinigaglia, the chief executive of Fashion Box, said: “We are more than thrilled with this alliance. Both Replay and FC Barcelona make the maximum effort to get excellence in their respective fields and Barça are not just a partner for us, they are also a great source of inspiration.”

“This is the first time that a denim company have moved into the world of football. We are certain that the product we are developing for them will surprise the whole world”.

FC Barcelona’s director general Antoni Rossich added: “Fashion Box is a leading company in its sector and Replay is a well-known, prestigious brand, which like our teams, boasts its own unique personality.”
