The reigning Formula One world champion Sebastian Vettel has agreed a personal deal with Braun for endorsing their new range of men’s electric grooming equipment.

The Red Bull driver will add the much needed glamour quotient for the company’s multi-platform ‘Hold on to your Dreams’ campaign.

“I grew up with the Braun brand; we both come from the same state of Hesse, and so the connection is deep rooted. I have always been amazed by how much technology goes into Braun shavers,” said Vettel.

Vettel is also the global ambassador of Nissan-owned Infiniti. Lakis Vasileiadis, Braun’s global marketing director, praised the driver and said that he is delighted to have the triple world champion to be associated with their brand.

“We are truly delighted to have Sebastian as our new ambassador. He is an impressive man who has achieved his dream through hard work, preparation, perseverance and the ultimate performance. He is a leader in his sport,” he said.

Vettel moved a step closer to his fourth consecutive title in a row with a facile win in the Belgian Grand Prix. The driver now sits atop comfortably with a 46-point lead from his nearest rival in the standings.
