1st Maharashtra State Paralympic Games 2015 - Report

Paralympic Swimming Association of Maharashtra & Para Sports Association, Mumbai conducted the 1st Maharashtra State Paralympic Games, 2015 under the auspices of Paralympic Sports Association (Maharashtra) & Paralmypic Committee of India from 28th to 29th Marchm 2015 at Bharat Ratna Rajiv Gandhi District Sports Complext, Mumbai.

23 districts participated from all over Maharashtra, 456 para athletes took part in 8 games ( Archery, Athletics, Blind Judo, Swimming, Wheelchair Fencing, Table Tennis, Badminton & Power Lifting ). A total of 227 medals were given away.

The Inauguration was done by Mr. Vinod Tawde - Maharashtra Education Minister & Guest of Honor was Dr. P.S. Pasricha - Retd. Dir General of Police.
