Usain Bolt dismisses reports of calling Glasgow Commonwealth Games a bit shit

Usain Bolt has rubbished all reports claiming that he called the 2014 Glasgow Commonwealth Games "a bit s***" and the Olympics were "better".

The 100m World champion allegedly made these comments after leaving the athletes' village. He was questioned by a reporter whether he was making fun of Scotland, to which he replied "not really".

The Jamaican had earlier met Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry.

The six-time Olympic gold medallist is competing only in the 4 X 100m relay and sprint relay finals at Glasgow.

Bolt had added that he would be staying in the athletes' village, but restricted to his room.

Bolt’s manager, Ricky Simms, described these reports as “utter rubbish” and added: “The atmosphere in and around the stadiums has been absolutely fantastic and I have absolutely no idea where these quotes have come from.”

The Jamaican sprinter took to twitter to express his displeasure.
