Ajay Jayaram continued his fine run

Showing great fitness levels, despite playing two matches on Thursday, India’s Ajay Jayaram moved into the semifinals of the 2015 Russian Open, after beating Wei Feng Chong of Malaysia 21-15 21-13 in the quarterfinal on Friday.

The opening game began on a topsy-turvy note, but at the crucial turn in the match came at the 10-10 mark, when Jayaram first took the lead and then maintained the pressure on his opponent, by chipping away with the points to eventually take the opening game 21-15.
