Saina Nehwal was the first to step out of the court and she won her match in straight games and then PV Sindhu first in the Singles and then in the Women’s Doubles also won her matches quite comfortably.The third Women's Singles and reigning South Asian Games champion Ruthvika Shivani Gadde also won her tie as did the experienced duo of Jwala Gutta and Ashwini Ponnapppa to make it 5-0 and get the Indians off to a terrific start.
