Ashwini Ponappa is an expert Indian doubles badminton player. She is a Winner of the gold medal in Women’s Doubles event pairing with Jwala Gutta at 2010 Commonwealth games. Ashwini Ponnappa came into the reckoning after winning the National Badminton Championships title twice in doubles event in 2006 and 2007. She is paired up with Jwala Gutta for the Women’s Doubles event during the London Olympics.
