Top Malaysian shuttler Lee Chong Wei's B sample result was confirmed to be positive for dexamethasone.
The Badminton Association of Malaysia (BAM) will have a press conference at 2 pm at BAM headquarters in Bukit Kiara, Kuala Lumpur on Saturday to make an official announcement regarding the issue. Lee faces a two-year ban, but he will get a chance for a hearing with the BWF on a later date, which will be revealed soon.
The press conference will be chaired by Datuk Norza Zakaria, the Deputy-President of Badminton Association of Malaysia (BAM).
Lee went through a dope test when he was in Copenhagen on August 30 for the World Championships.
