Kobe Bryant has completely healed from the knee injury which kept him out of the entire last season. The injury had struck after he had played only six games post his return from an Achilles’ injury rehab.
Now, with well over two and a half months left for the NBA season to tip off on 30th October, the ‘Black Mamba’ was off for his annual trip to China as part of the ‘Nike Rise’ campaign.
Thrilling fans not just with his presence but with his scintillating play, Bryant played a fan to a one-on-one full court match and showed that despite his age and recovery from two huge injures, he has not lost his shooting touch.
Shooting three’s from way beyond the arc, blocking a layup shot and icing the game with a series of moves involving incredible footwork – Bryant put all that and more on display for the fans assembled.
