2016 NBA Playoffs: Pacers, Heat remain in contention: Trailblazers progress

Toronto Raptors 83-101 Indiana Pacers

Led by 21 points from Paul George and 15 points from Myles Turner the Indiana Pacers made it 3-3 in the 7-match NBA Playoffs against the Toronto Raptors. DeMarre Carroll starred for the visitors with 15 points on the night and Jonas Valaciunas contributed 14 points, but it didn’t prove to be enough on the night as the series head into a 7th and final game to see who progresses through to the next round.

2.Miami Heat 97-90 Charlotte Hornets

Led by a superb performance by Dwayne Wade(23 points) the Miami Heat squared the 7-match Playoff series against the Charlotte Hornets at the Time Warner Cable Arena on Friday night.

The guard was well supported by Luol Deng who netted 21 points as the Heat fought back to square the series.

Al Jefferson was the star for the hornets wiyh 18 points, biut his exploits went in vain and it sets it up beautifully for Game 7 in the series.

3.Portland Trailblazers 106-103 Los Angeles Clippers

In the closest match of the night, the Portland Trailblazers prevailed over the Los Angeles Clippers by 3 points thanks to a superb 28 point bperfoemance from Damien Lillard.CJ McCollum gave him good support with 20 points.

The performance nullified James Crawford’s effort for 32 points and also knocked his side out of contention for a berth in the next round.
