The Golden State Warriors are cruising right now at a league best record of 35-6. They have now won 13 of their last 14 games and are currently on a franchise record 18 game home winning streak. They beat the Sacramento Kings last night in dominant fashion largely because of a hot shooter named Klay Thompson. Thompson scored a career high and tied league best this season of 52 points, of which 37 came in the third quarter setting an NBA record for most points in a single quarter.
What was amazing about his third quarter shooting display was that during the barrage, he did not miss a single shot in the entire quarter. Thompson was a perfect 9 for 9 from three point range and 13 of 13 from the field during the third quarter.
