Gurukul College win both boys and girls title of the KCM Basketball Bash 2014 here at Kathmandu, Nepal.
In the boys final, Gurukul College defeated Capital College and Research Center (CCRC) 53 – 42 to lift the title. Robin Khatri netted 30 points for Gurukul. Similarly in the Girls category, Gurukul College defeated Prime College 28 – 27 to lift the girls title of the KCM BB BASH. Gyanu Gauchan netted 12 points for Gurukul to lift the title.
Robin Khatri (Boys) and Gyanu Gauchan (Girls), both of Gurukul College were declared the MVPs of the tournament while Binod Maharjan (Gurukul) was adjudged best coach of the tournament.
KCM Basketball Bash (KCM BB BASH), an annual inter-college basketball tournament organized by Kathmandu College of Management, is one of the biggest college basketball tournaments in Nepal. Altogether 24 teams in the boys section and eight in the girls section had participated in the 2014 edition of the KCM BB BASH.
