The Golden State Warriors are all healthy, ready to go and grab the franchise’s first championship in 40 years, after news came in that their All-Star shooting Guard Klay Thompson was cleared for Game 1 of the NBA Finals after passing the concussion protocol, set by the NBA.

Golden State made the announcement following Thompson’s second straight successful practise with the team on Tuesday. Before the announcement, this is what Thompson himself had to say about his condition:
"I feel great, honestly.These past two days, I feel like I've got my wind back. Tomorrow is the final tuneup. Just trying to stop the nerves and anxiousness, or keep them down as much as possible."
Last week after the Golden State Warriors booked their ticket to the NBA Finals after eliminating the Houston Rockets 4-1 in the Western Conference Champions, Thompson was diagnosed with a concussion after he developed concussion type symptoms after the game. He was injured after he took a knee from Houston Rockets’ Small Forward Trevor Ariza to his head during the fourth quarter of Game 5 in the Western Conference Finals.
While Thompson is cleared, the Warriors are also hoping to get Mareese Speights fit for the Finals series against the Cavaliers. Speights has been out of action since he injured his calf in Game 3 of the Western Conference Semis against the Memphis Grizzlies. Golden State Head Coach Steve Kerr on Speights:
"He's good to go," Kerr said. "He's had two good practices in a row. He will more than likely play. It's just a question of how the rotation unfolds and the matchups."
Although a reserve, Speights is the third leading scorer for the Warriors during the regular season with 10.4 points per game. He provides them with instant offense off the bench with his jump shooting and ability to put the ball on the floor. Things are looking good for Golden State with Speights also completing his second practise on Tuesday.
