NBA 2K15 have made two big announcements recently.One is that Kevin ‘the Baddest’ Durant is the new cover star of the latest edition of the popular game. And the second one is that the now famous singer of ‘Happy’ , Pharrell Williams is going to be the one to curate the soundtrack of the game.
The moves are not much of a surprise as Durant, of the Oklahoma City Thunders was the Most Valuable NBA Player of the year and Pharrell Williams has proven to be a huge hit among the US audience specially the teenagers after his song ‘Happy’ went viral and topped the charts for many weeks. There will be many new voice actors in the game and up until now, the confirmed voice actor players in the latest version are Al Jefferson, Andre Dummond, Trey Burke, Andre Iguodala, Al Horford, Gerald Wallace, Thaddeus Young, Brook Lopez, Channing Fry, Brandon Knight and 2K15's cover-player, Kevin Durant.
The game is slated to release on October 7 on the following platforms: PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC. Before this, Williams was quite ‘Happy’ about this new venture as he said, “It was a cool experience. I tried to curate songs that were diverse but yet still proved to be motivational to gamers. It was important to me that the music complemented the on-court action of NBA basketball in NBA 2K15.
