Qatar and Chinese Taipei won the men’s and women’s gold respectively in the 3x3 basketball event of the 4th Asian Beach Games at Phuket, Thailand. In the men’s final, Qatar defeated India 21 – 20 to claim gold while Chinese Taipei defeated China 15 – 13 to win women’s gold.
Meanwhile, hosts Thailand beat Bangladesh 17 – 15 to claim men’s bronze and host Thailand also claimed women’s bronze by defeating Mongolia 13 – 7.
12 teams in men’s category and 8 teams in women’s category participated in the 4th edition of Asian Beach Games which is held at Phuket, Thailand.
