Houston, March 28 (IANS): The Houston Rockets completed an easy 120-98 win over the Philadelphia 76ers at the Toyota Center here, picking up their fifth straight victory.

The Rockets did not need to perform very well to beat the Sixers as the latter haven’t won a single game in nearly two months, reports Xinhua.

The Sixers had a few runs Thursday but not enough to defeat the star-studded Rockets, who outscored in each quarter and claimed the victory effortlessly.

James Harden finished with 26 points with 10 rebounds and assists each in just 21 minutes, his second career triple double. Dwight Howard added 17 points and 13 rebounds while Terrence Jones chipped in 20 points.

James Anderson led the Sixers with 30 points and made six 3-pointers. The team matched the 2010-11 Cavaliers’ NBA record for 26-consecutive losses.

The Rockets have improved to 49-22 this season while the Sixers are 15-57.
