Video: Heated exchange between Kobe Bryant and Dwight Howard

On opening night in the NBA, the Houston Rockets played the Lakers in Los Angeles in the second game of a doubleheader on Turner Network Television (TNT). It was the first time former teammates Kobe Bryant and Dwight Howard faced off against each other,since the latter left for Houston after only a single season with the Lakers.

Although the result of the game was almost done by the fourth quarter. majority of the starters were still on court. After an unsuccessful shot attempt, Howard got the rebound and Bryant was right behind him trying to poke the ball away however there were a couple of elbows thrown by Howard which led to a heated exchange of words.

Both players got technicals for their on-court chatter which included Bryant using words like “Try me” and calling Howard “Soft”.
