Havana, Dec 19 (IANS) Cuba plan to host their own version of the World Series of Boxing next year.
Cuba’s Boxing Federation (CBF) president Alberto Puig said that Cuba’s National Series of Boxing will have “structures and characteristics similar to the competitive regulations of the World Series”, a semi-professional competition in which the island participates, reports Xinhua.
According to Puig, the World Series of Boxing “expects to promote this initiative in all countries through franchises”.
