MMA/Boxing News: Mayweather accuses UFC President Dana White of making a better living than his employees!

‘TBE Money’ Mayweather!

Investors of professional sports leagues tend to bag a lot of cash, but a person who owns 9% of the stocks of the leading MMA organisation in the world, you can expect him to financially do better than its employed fighters.

UFC President Dana White is worth $300 million while most fighters who are employed by the UFC are worth less than $1 million. Boxing legend Floyd Mayweather who generally flaunts his cash accused Dana White of making a better living than his employees.

While average athletes who are indulged in other professional sports lead a rich life, most of the UFC fighters struggle to make ends meet. The UFC and White, according to Mayweather, make a lot more money from their fighters beating up each other in the Octagon, who are paid lesser.

Mayweather expressed his feelings about White:

“It’s easy for another guy to talk when he’s not in there in a contact sport. It’s easy to get a ton of money of these UFC guys while they’re really not getting paid and he’s living better than the UFC guys. There’s a difference between [me and Dana White]. They can say, ‘Floyd is getting paid better than his guys’, well guess what? I was a fighter myself so I put in the work on both sides.”

The real Money Man in the UFC!

While the fans still expect a blockbuster fight between Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor, the boxing champ seems to have dropped the idea and wishes to move on. Dana White has stated that McGregor is under contract with the UFC. And Mayweather would have to contact him for the cross-promotional boxing match.

Mayweather prefers a boxing match between the two, but White expects ‘kicks, punches and elbows involved,’ according to Bloodyelbow.com.

"They seem to want the money, probably! But I don't know how bad they actually want to make that a reality,"

White was quoted as saying to a TMZ reporter.

"That's right. Kicks, punches, and elbows. He (Mayweather) doesn't have to learn to do anything, but he's going to get kicked and elbowed."
