The journey from just an Engineering graduate to a Sports Editor and now a Cricket Content Manager has been nothing short of extraordinary. The transition has been a massive learning curve for me, which I have enjoyed thoroughly. Apart from having got the chance to work with some of the most talented people in the industry, the kind of opportunities handed out to me in these two years is something I can’t describe in words.
It's like working in your own organization. You have the liberty to take decisions and you are your own boss in most instances. I joined the organization in 2019 and was expected to take ownership of just one vertical. But I was given a lot of opportunities to learn and grow internally, and my efforts were recognized and appreciated throughout the journey. In 2009, at the age of 24, Porush Jain combined his two major passions – sports and entrepreneurship - to create Sportskeeda and disrupt the Sports Media Industry. The then blog and now major website attracts over 60 million monthly users from all over the globe.
Along the way, Porush has learned, understood and delivered in various roles - from content management to coding, and from product strategy to marketing & sales.
A restless bundle of energy, Porush is not satisfied with what he has achieved so far. He aims to make Sportskeeda the No. 1 sports media brand in the entire world.
Hailing from Noida, Porush is a mechatronics engineering graduate and an MBA in Marketing from SIBM. He is married and currently based in Bengaluru.
'Troubleshooter' and 'go-getter' were a couple of the names that Ajay’s colleagues in organizations like Tally Solutions, SuperProfs, and Dainik Bhaskar gave him. With almost a decade of experience in the corporate world, Ajay has donned multiple hats to manage and grow verticals like Sales, Marketing, Operations, and HR.
Now working with the highly energetic Sportskeeda team, Ajay is on a mission to make Sportskeeda the No. 1 sports website in the world.
Hailing from the heart of the country, Bhopal, Ajay is a BTech graduate in IT and holds an MBA in Marketing from IBS, Hyderabad. He is married and has a 5-year-old son, and is also based in Bengaluru.
Sankalp has spent over a decade managing technology to align and scale it for both large & small businesses. His experience is spread across telecommunication, infrastructure & IT, banking, food tech and online media.
Sankalp's biggest passion is peeling off layer after layer of the problems that businesses face, ultimately cracking them open with common sense and technology (in that order).
Brought up in the beautiful hills of Nainital, Sankalp did his undergrad in Computer Engineering from Pantnagar University. He threw himself into freelance technology consulting right out of the college dorm.
Sankalp worked with companies of several shapes and sizes, often as a consultant, before arriving and finding a niche at Sportskeeda. He is currently based in Bengaluru, with a wife and a daughter.
