Irfan Pathan was bought by the Delhi Daredevils in 2011 for a huge sum of $1.9 million. The all-rounder is quite a useful cricketer to have in the T20 game and has proved that with impressive performances for the Delhi outfit.

The Baroda paceman will be hoping to have a good IPL season as he attempts to make a comeback into the Indian team.

5) Ravindra Jadeja:

When the Chennai Super Kings bought Ravindra Jadeja for $2 million at the 2012 auctions, it surprised a lot of people. Jadeja though has been a match winner for the franchise with his left-arm spin & quick runs down the order.

The all-rounder is expected to be retained by CSK for the 2014 season.

4) Rohit Sharma:
