2nd Delhi Daredevils Corporate Cricket Tournament begins today

20th September, 2015: It’s the time of the year when cricket is clearly the flavor of the season. The first edition of the daredevils corporate cup was received with a great enthusiasm from the corporate world, due to which Daredevils Corporate Cup returns with the 2nd edition with double the fun and double the number of corporates participating in the tournament. The inaugural match was played today between Deloitte and Ernst & Young from group A followed by match between Muthoot Group and Daikin from group B on Palam airforce sports ground.

In partnership with cricHQ, Daredevils Corporate Cup also initiated, live scoring of the tournament on the Delhi Daredevils official website. Daredevils Corporate Cup 2nd edition promises to be one of the most captivating sports event of the Delhi -NCR with corporate juggernauts like Google, Daikin, Deloitte, Make My Trip, Spicejet, Pavna Group, Mgage, Snap Deal, Jodhpur House, Indigo, Dominos, Muthoot Group, Metlife, Religare, Apollo Munich, Dial, Damco and others ready to scorch the cricket field.

The details of the tournament are as follows:

· 24 Corporates split into 3 groups of 3 teams each.

· Each team plays 2 league matches within its Group.

· The top 1 team from each group qualify for the QF stage

· Winners move on to the SF stage and then the Final

The tournament starts today and will be played for six consecutive weekends, addressing the teams on the field, Mr. Sunil Walson (Delhi Daredevil –Team Manager), said: “Delhi Daredevils prides itself in reaching out and for seamless synergy between sports and corporate world, promoting a robust relationship between the two.
