5 players to watch out for in West Indies, Australia and South Africa tri-series

Mitchell Starc

West Indies will host South Africa and Australia in a 10-match ODI series which will commence from June 3. West Indies will clash with South Africa in the first match to played at the Providence.

We take a look at 5 players to watch out for from the series.

Mitchell Starc

The left-arm quick is making a comeback from injury after undergoing an ankle operation. Starc last played during Australia's day-night Test against New Zealand in Adelaide.

Starc also missed the Indian Premier League and would love to stage a comeback in full flight. There is little doubt that the New South Welshman is the best bowler with the white ball in the world currently and his addition will be a massive boost for Australia.

Adam Zampa

After his heroics in the just-concluded Indian Premier League, all eyes will be on Adam Zampa, the young leg-spinner.

The way he befuddled batsmen with his bowling in India will certainly enthuse Steve Smith, his captain. Also, the pitches in the West Indies will certainly aide his style of bowling.

Sunil Narine

Sunil Narine

Sunil Narine was not as effective with his re-modelled action initially in the IPL, but slowly he got into his groove and dished out memorable performances with the ball.

However, International cricket is an entirely different kettle of fish, and this will be his first series with his rectified action. How will he cope up with the pressure will be a compelling watch.

Tabraiz Shamsi

Tabraiz Shamsi

The left-arm chinaman was a surprise inclusion into the Royal Challengers Squad, and was decent in the opportunities he got.

Shamsi will be making his international debut in West Indies and on sluggish surfaces, he will be the mystery in the South African ranks.

Along with Imran Tahir, Shamsi will bowl in tandem and if he performs anywhere close to the raps which he has been given, it will make for an interesting sight.

Carlos Brathwaite

Carlos Brathwaite

The big, burly West Indian will forever be remembered for his 4 sixes in the final over of the World T20. It has been quite a ride since for him.

He was decent for the Delhi Daredevils in the IPL, but coming into an International series, the pressure will assume different proportions. He has shown that he can handle pressure well, and hence his role as a finisher and as a bowler will hold the key for West Indies.
