Anushka Sharma dismisses rumours of wedding plans with Virat Kohli

Reports that Indian cricketer Virat Kohli was planning to get married to girlfriend Anushka Sharma have been dismissed by the latter’s representative. There had been rumours floating around that the Bollywood actress was given permission by the BCCI to be with Kohli during the Test series in England as they were to tie the knot soon.

Sharma released a statement through her representative on Saturday denying any plans of getting married in the near future.

Speaking on the rumours, Anushka’s representative said: “There are several stories online about Anushka Sharma's impending wedding. However, I would like to set the record straight that there is absolutely no truth to these rumours and I would like to request you to refrain from conjecturing about the same."

The Indian cricket team vice-captain and the Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi actress have been dating for a few months now. A lot of critics have blamed Sharma for Kohli’s loss in form during the England Tests, resulting in rumours of BCCI banning wives and girlfriends accompanying players in future tours. Such reports were later rubbished by the Indian cricket board.
