Bangladesh vs India 2015: 3rd ODI - Facts and figures

FoMA
Bangladesh won the series by 2-1

India played for pride in the last game and they earned some too as they defeated Bangladesh by 77 runs in the final ODI in Mirpur. The consolation victory by the visitors prevented the home team from completing a 3-0 whitewash.

India were focused and determined, but also tense ever since the first ball was bowled. Openers Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan gave India a steady start which was smoothly ridden past 300 by the middle order batsmen. India posted a 318-run target for the hosts to win.

Bangladesh lost Tamim Iqbal early in the massive chase, but Soumya Sarkar soon brought stability for a while before he got out after scoring 40 runs. Later, the Tigers failed to cope with the pressure and kept losing wickets in intervals. India bowled out the hosts for 240.
