India won the inaugral T20 World Cup for the blind as they beat Pakistan by 29 runs in the Final at the Central College grounds in Bangalore.
India, sent in to bat by their neighbours, set a target of 259 runs for the Pakistanis. India batted well from the start as they reached their hundred in 9 overs. Keetan Patel made an aggressive 98 as India managed 258-8 in 20 overs, with 81 coming off the final five.
The Pakistan batsmen weren’t able to keep up to the scoring rate of the hosts right from the start, as they were all out for 229 runs in the final over.
