Ahead of the marquee India vs West Indies semifinal encounter on Thursday, destructive West indies batsman Chris Gayle decided to take some time off from his busy cricketing schedule and met Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan at his residence on Monday.
Both the 36-year-old as well as the 72-year-old posted on their respective Twitter accounts about their meeting. Mr. Bachchan has been very active on social media during this World T20 season and was involved in some banter with former England all-rounder Andrew Flintoff on Sunday, during India’s match against Australia.
After hammering a 47-ball hundred against England, Gayle had replied to a tweet of the actor, saying that they would definitely catch up soon.
Last month, the left-hander had gifted an autographed bat to the actor and added that he was a big fan of his movies.
